Expanding 8WR to more than just Soulcalibur?

Any chance of finishing out the Soul series with a Soul Edge/Soul Blade sub-forum before we try to up and grab a whole other franchise?

edit: Ohsnap. It's already there. Kinda hard to spot, though. When did that happen?
 
No no no. You guys got it all wrong. Look, theres no point in adding Tekken or BB or SF into the fold on 8way. Instead...it would be nice to see these admins (Jaxel, Castel, Javi) colaborate on a central hub for ALL fighters.

This site could be a one stop for tournament organizers, sponsors, staffers, etc. It would have tools dedicated to getting tournaments up and running and getting them notice in the community.

It could also have tools for gamers as far as ranking systems, tutorials, etc. There could be mods dedicated to showing the ins and outs of the games. Sort of like a file directory of videos of how to's. It would bring together the best info thats out there right now and bring it together in an easy to find spot.

As far as getting into the nitty gritty of the games themselves there would be links to 8way, Zaibatsu, etc.

Again, there is absolutly ZERO reason for Tekken, or any other fighter to be added to 8way. We got to think about structure here. The fighter community needs a backbone. This could be it.

I like this, it would make it alot easier to coordinate tournaments which feature more than one game. However, it would be a tremendous amount of work for Jaxel and the other forum owners but if you guys could make it work, then God-speed to you.
 
Actually, it would be bad to add BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Street fighter and the like for one simple reason. The site is 8wayrun. Therefore, it wouldn't make sense to represent 2D games that have no 8 way run. Games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter could hypothetically fit the bill, but Street Fighter and BlazBlue are in the 2D plane, despite SF4's 3D graphics.

Maybe it's stupid logic, but it's something to think about.
