Expanding 8WR to more than just Soulcalibur?

So when SF4 came out people begged for a separate forum for SF4, which didn't happen. When BB came out, a separate forum was made for BB which failed. Now Tekken's coming out and everyone wants a forum for Tekken? Come on, we all know how this is gonna go, especially since most of us lost interest in SF4. If anything, I'm with the idea of another "all fighting game" forum. Is there gonna be a poll on this btw?

Not really an "all fighting game" forum. More like a portal that links to other sites. It should also be a major tournament hub with ranking system and all. We could see who is tops in every country and possibly world.
 
Yea seeing how astral heat went I'd say expanding is bad idea. I like the suggestion someone made about having a site dedicated to match videos and online tournaments. On top of that I would add javachat. Basically the site itself is yours but you cooperate with other competitive fighting game sites(that are willing) such as SRK, TZ, DL. Basically on their forum they'll have a link that's in a very visible position(such as the way it is on this site) but instead of staying on their site they are brought to this new site. So if someone's on SRK and they want SF4 vids the click and it brings them directly to SF4 videos. Or if someone one one DL wants to chat about Blazblue it brings them directly to Blazblue chat. On the side there can be links to the games that are included on this new site and there respective forum.

Lastly I did love the idea of the blog talking about all the exiciting things going on in all communities. And maybe even a podcast. Possibly make compilation vids of everything that's gone down to add to the hype. The site itself can have it's own front page but all the individual sites can link to the game's individual subsections.

As for 8wayrun itself we can just add groups to talk about games that have a lot of hype around it. And as it stands people use java chat to talk about other games anyway, so people here can continue to talk about the other games they're into with their friends here.
