It's tournament viable at local tournaments that don't know a damn thing lol, since you can't actually do it forever without breaking stuff i'd do it to get all my meter and then let it go. And i already do it normally within combos and such as it's not hard. You can do the standard combo into Quicksilver into level 3, into full pick up into another Quicksilver.
Also do it in XF for full XF damage as XF freezes too lol.

If being a big fish in a small pond is appealing to you, then go right ahead and use it. It's in the game, so might as well. I'm simply not interested in using a tool that I won't have against knowledgeable comp at legit tournaments. And I know it's not hard, but that's not the point.

Well it IS a tool that you can use against knowledgeable opponents, you just can't use it in the tournaments they're competing in. Money matches however........

I wish we learned this when the Zero snapback glitch existed. Quicksilver into DHC into Snapback glitch
 
If your opponent is stupid enough to not ban that from your money match as well, then they deserve to lose anyway. I main Dante, and I would ban that glitch from any money match I played. Mind you, I have no problem with stuff like infinites, but glitches like Quicksilver, Zero Glitch, etc. just have no place in competitive play.
