Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

HOW does it hand you the match? The game will FREEZE before you kill half a character with it. You get alot of meter and to guarantee a kill you'll use at least 2 meter to do so unless they're almost dead to begin with. It's an over glorified DHC glitch that much funnier to watch.
ANd that's if it was on HIT, on block it's just a boat load of chip damage that you'll have to stop again otherwise the game will freeze. Cool thing on that is going into Devil Trigger will activate the other assists so you get free mix ups. But the point is it's far from a guaranteed win in any situation. Guaranteed character death, MAYBE, but that's just a DHC glitch. The Zero glitch is worse in terms of gamebreaking.

Doing it in general doesn't make you jack shit, other than someone who plays a game using whatever is available. So like shut the hell up Landslide? Someone abusing the back grab glitch in SC3 is an asshole too? Especially with Ivy? I don't believe so no. Or even on a lesser level, HILDE? No of course not, they're there to be used. Of course until they're banned way later than they should, not to mention if at all.

I can't take you seriously if your argument is that the move takes two bars of super meter when MvC3 hands them out. Quit while you're ahead.

It's not like i was hiding those posts, but you're wrong on the amount of chip, any beam character, Jill or of course Phoenix with their XF can do much more chip in a much easier and quicker fashion, the amount of chip Dante does in Quicksilver takes forever, or an INSTANT according to the game clock , and you'll stop before killing a character out because you can't kill on chip before breaking the game, which means at all unless they have no life to begin with.
That combo i posted doesn't work, they disproved it as doing the Air Play into j.h into H into guns cannot combo into Stinger and leading into the combo, although it can start the glitch they'll be blocking it.... which sucks lol. But yes you can go into a level three, which if you go in and do yourself still doesn't kill most characters.
And you're telling me a glitch that resets damage all together is fine but a glitch that freezes the game for a period of time isnt? For Quicksilver to work well you need to go into the DHC glitch ANYWAY, you just get free meter for doing so, which is damn good yes.
But in all honesty Phoenix alone is worse than this glitch in every way, the bitch is more broken than the entire cast of HnK with XF.
And breaking it down to the Hilde thing, it's a matter of using something BROKEN, whether it's a move, a character or a glitch. Hilde, MetaKnight, Phoenix, EDDIE, all of HnK lol, DHC glitch, Quicksilver, the infinite cape teleport from Metaknight, grab loops, the SC3 back grab glitch... why are only some of these banned but not all? Thy're all different things that are broken, takes different skill levels to use, but in the end they can ruin a game.

@Landslide, glad to see you acknowledge i was ahead in this lol, ya MvC3 hands meter out, i think the TAC system in the game is the worst thing about it. It's a LITTLE better in Ultimate but that's shit is retarded. Start off anyone, TAC into Dante, Hammer, Quicksilver... 5 meter level 3 maybe dead, if not, free mix up and try again or Quicksilver into DHC glitch. Oh ya Also TAC into Dante, Hammer, DHC Glitch dead character OR DHC glitch into Quickliver if you have Ammy or Wolvy. Both of course moot if you drop the ending combo. Shit's the same.

UMVC TAC is actually really smart...it's got clear rewards and breaking it is more intended to choose democractic rights to what you don't wanna get fucked up by and if you can catch them being greedy you get out for free...sounds pretty legit. MVC3 is bad because sideways still gains meter and damage and is just an inbetween of up n down and really they just have to think of what they want more and 50/50 between side and up/down.

As for banning, it's always a difficult choice and sometimes communities make bad choices. Should Hilde have been banned...yes. Algol...probably not. Sometimes it's a wait and see and sometimes it's pretty obv. DHC glitch...probably woulda been banned but was over shadowed by things like Phoenix just being Phoenix.

I would say consider it for banning if they can activate it any time, even while the opponent is blocking. All glitches (all Mahvel glitches at least) have the basic prerequisite that the opposing player must have effed up at LEAST once before suffering the consequences. If you can do it even if the opponent blocks, it makes the game a moot point -- grounds for banning.

Also, given all the TOD's present without TAC, TAC is actually acceptable in terms of balancing (note, not perfect). If you get caught in a combo that normally does 600k, you have no chance to get out of it. If they TAC, they -might- get 700k due to additional damage scaling (barring the DHC glitch), but you also get a 33% chance to stop the combo right there.
