Hate Speech: A Seasonal Feast

-_-

Yeah, lows are also useless cuz i can just option select them both with 3G.

/ignores all other variables and factors

Emphasis on "as". I'm only speaking from experience- I know I myself used option select GI/throw break in quite a few situations as a crutch during SC2 when I didn't feel like guessing. It was viable. Annnnnd I bet a box of french fries you did too, if you played SC2. :)

And hey, if you didn't, that's cool too. Definitely makes you a better player then I was. I actively looked for ways to reduce guessing- if you were so manly that you didn't need to do that, that's pretty powerful.

KA - I really hope you aren't implying that SC2 throws are like tekken where you can see the break from the animation. The only throws you could actually break on reaction in any SC, were SC2 asta command grabs... and that is because he used to make different sounds in startup for his A and B command grabs. Even then I can't point to a player that was so on point he never missed them.

Not weighing in on the main point, but I believe that at least Rock's floor grabs are breakable on reaction (at least in SC:BD, where according to training the break is based on your orientation).

Rock has to do different grabs based on your orientation, but they have A and B breaks for both of them... Unless they took that out in BD

Totally unrelated, but characters make noise when a grab is input right after commands like 66/236 etc, so you could theoretically use it to increase your chance of breaking grabs that include those commands.

That only happens in tekken. In that game the person throwing leads with one hand that will indicate the break. In SC it's the same animation for all normal grabs, some command grabs will have different animations like Voldo BT 66A+G. Outside if specific instances like that, grabs in SC all use similar animations for standard grabs.
Yes it is nothing like Tekken. As I said you're reacting to the animation AFTER the throw connects.
