Final Fantasy XIII

Wouldn't you say, though, that allowing you to pick what mission to take in the order you choose is non-linear? You are still driven to a point, but how you proceed to that point is not forced upon you.

This would mean that segments in FF4 and FF6 are non-linear, as you can choose to pick up Leviathan, take on the Sylph Cavern, pick up Bahamut, choose not to get the ultimate weapons in the final dungeon, decide the order in which characters you pick up in the World of Ruin and which optional dungeons to take on.

Well sure, but it's still an illusion. I mean FF7 does the same thing, spreading out many possibilites with only a few musts. FF9 too and X but it don't matter much. I don't care either way, it's all about how they do what they do....do for any and all games.

Wow they droped the ball wit this one all you do is run from area too area fighting you don't do anything else. Just got my first summon Lighting is by far the best character the others have no personality.

Wow a lot of RPG nerds are really hatin on this game hardbody, guess that means it's time for me to consider giving it a try lol. Remember that old saying about one man's trash?

Hows the Battle System for FF13?
I hope its smooth enough that you can link combos seemlessly.
or just smooth.

anyways. what about Resonace of Fate? Anyone getting that? O_O

FF13 has the best battle system out the series it uses some of the FF12 system (gambit) but 10x better. You also have too think fast when switching your roles each different role has different abilities.

The level up system is the best also similar too the spear grid (FFX)
In japan this game got all perfect 10's i expect the NA reviews too avg around a 9.0

I'm lucky i got a copy early they wouldn't give me an strategy guide though but from i hear it's only 1 side quest (battle arena) hunting.
