Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

I'm saying that at neutral, it's masher friendly. After a knockdown, it favors the person on the ground. Maybe Turtle isn't the right word.

Or maybe I just suck at the game. That's a real possibility too.

I think it's a possibility damn near everyone who has posted in this topic sucks at the game.

I know 95% of the people who post on 8wayrun suck at Calibur and don't even know it...it imagine it's much worse for a game that isn't the site's main game.

Also, I can see the ake up kicks but it gets confusing trying to differentiate between the two and someone simply getting up and doing something.

Generally, you don't want to spam strings. Most of them are throw-punishable and nearly all of them are hold-able on hit.
When I see people play, though, they just keep attacking, and attacking, and attacking.

I don't see a lot of single-hit moves. The ones that are in the game have lousy frames, - on hit or what have you. I am lead to believe that the - frames on hit doesn't matter if the opponent has been lead to believe that more strikes are coming, so they end up hesitating, attempting to throw punish, or attempting to hold.

Is this not true? It seems like the strings are there to make you second-guess, you don't know when I'll stop attacking (hello Eliot). So, even though parts of it are negative, the opponent's hesitation makes it "positive".
