Your fucked... Yellow light is motherboard problems
and I think green to red is something with laser and similar to the motherboard problem
either way your better off buying a new one

Pretty strapped for cash since I've already put down money for a Wii U this year. My PS3 was not a launch system, but was a 60 gig backwards compatible PS3 that I got on clearance sale for about 300 dollars a year after the official launch.
When that one went kaput, I got a refurbished model from Sony themselves. I'd rather not buy a new PS3 if I can avoid it. Especially since I got a ton of data on my system and it (was) the only working Sony device (beyond my PSP) that could run all my games.
Anyway, I think there might be some good places around Austin that can do a good repair. Unless Sony can repair it without destroying my data.
