Why do people think that suicide is wrong?

What if the person has a disease which can't be cured, do you want the person to suffer for the rest of the person's life? Or what if, their family is dead? Suicide is justified in my opinion.

However, when the person does commit suicide, shoot yourself or jump off a building for example. Don't jump in front of a bus or train, the driver will then suffer.

A lot of people have helped me out in my life, from parents to teachers to friends and I'm sure it's the same way for most people. Killing yourself just seems like a big "fuck you" to anyone who ever cared about you to me. Especially if it's over something stupid like a breakup or a firing. I would say if you have a disease that can't be cured, that may be another story. But until you are debilitated you should try to do some good. If your family died, that's rough, but I'm pretty sure they'ed want you to go on and find a reason to live. We owe the process of inoculation to a man who lost his wife and daughter to disease btw. He wanted to die, and then he committed himself to medicine. I'm not saying you're going to change the world, but you might find something worth living for.

as long as the person isn't self centered. a lot of suicides is the person's last effort to get attention. a guy on this website posted that no one loved him/her and that they were going to commit suicide. that pissed me off so much. if you're going to commit suicide don't try to gather everyone's attention before doing so. especially strangers. I told him off and i honestly don't know whether he did it or not. not to be rude but i frankly didn't care. I didn't even know who he was so i wouldn't be phased if he did.

cool fighter was right too. jumping in front of trains and off buildings is still showing off. be respectful of other people. do a drug overdose or something if you really have too. not write or call someone with some elongated sob story. people don't want to hear that unless they're directly related. that's my opinion on the matter.

Why do some people think coolfighter's threads are wrong?

Where do you come up with this stuff?

There is suffering regardless of whether it's obvious (I'm terrible! I hit someone with a truck!) or not so obvious (I really liked that guy but never told him and now he's dead).
