Weapon styles for future installments.

Yay! Slowly integrating KOEI into Soul Calibur XD

OMG! That'd be awesome. Yeah, I agree with you on how they should play like Magoichi.( Who is really cool btw :])

They could integrate this character in so many ways! Maybe he/she could be hunting down Amy and Raphael for being Vampires, for some reason like the vampires killed most of the Saika clan, and hes the remaining member or something like vampires blood can save their lover. Idk. They could be associated with Dampierre, maybe catching him for a bounty. Talim's cousin??? lol

or best one EVER. he/she was another assasain who was childhood friends with Tira in the Birds of Passage and has been looking for her ever since the assasain guild was disrupted. Now he/she finds her, and finds out that she is split personas and is trying to save her!!! co0o0ol. would make a better story for Tira!
 
I like the idea about Saika clan vampire hunters. It may be a little cliched, but still really cool. Perhaps blessed, silver ammunition with little crosses on them? I would still like to keep the character female, so she can be small and manueverable (easier to get away and reload). However, perhaps she doesn't have to be alone...
Another idea I recently got for a character (inspired by Bootyclap's idea) is a former member of Birds of Passage (far more sane, and less ruthless than Tira). After the "Seed" pretty much ended all organization in Birds of Passage, this former member found himself in need of employment. And his "special set of skills" were found to be helpful to the Saika in their campaign against the undead. Becoming quickly respected, he even developed a relationship with our musket-weilding hunter, joining her often in battle. His weapon(s) are two giant shiruken, like this guy...

Alot of acrobatic and quick, close attacks -but with the option for ranged attacks as well. Maybe even taking some from the katana/shiruken weapon style in Soul Calibur III.

I think it'd be cool to show (in the openning movie) the two fighting together. Tearing through hordes of enemies in front of a castle where Raphael and Amy look down from a balcony. Raph turns and walks back inside, but Amy stays on the balcony and watches... Perhaps she will join this girl, and betray the one who has doomed her to this existance. Or perhaps this former assassin killed her family, making her the orphan that helped Raph years ago. Either way, if there was any competitiveness in the Birds of Passage, Tira will want to settle it once and for all...
 
Perhaps instead of a staff, a 3 sectioned spear?
This is the only picture I could find of one. But, it would add a few more options...
