well the only shooter i know is GOW but its not a first person shooter its a over-the-shoulder or Third-person shooter. like IgnisPhaseOne siad knowing the maps is key but there's alot more to that. Know how to set up your Team up on these maps in gow the common thing ppl do is set up a 2 man squad one runs up with the Shotgun up close while 1 in the back shooting you with the Lancer or Snub Pistol. And know Weapons and what they can do and how you can use them together use a lot of Active special if you have the sniper its 1 hit down i got to where i can Active with out looking. Knowing how to use your Frag Grenades and Smoke Grenade is important to and having good back up its the most important thing you can have that's why my Team is so good. You got to have good timing its important to know how to move if the team you going up against has the sniper or boomshot all ways keep talking to your team communication is a most have if you don't have that you well lose everytime
in Soul Calibur what i have been train to do is wait and pick out my attacks i used to just go in attack with out thinking about what i was doing or going to do if that didn't work. now i try to play a Safe and poking game and if i have to i well stay out of there range and just let time run out and hope the guy fucks up cuz the time is almost up and i try to make the guy im going up against Block a lot so i can use Soul Gauge when the Soul Gauge is fishing red they don't Block as much.
