Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown

Version B came out a few months ago. Usually, with each major VF revision, I think they have 5-6 versions.

I would like to assume that SEGA is timing the release of final showdown for the final arcade rebalancing. I'm pretty sure that both they and we as fans don't want another situation like VF4:EVO, where Final Tuned, the superior and ultimate version of VF4 became arcade only, because it came out so quickly after EVO on PS2. and with no patching, it was simply impossible to bring it out.

It's one thing to have the ultimate version, final version of a fighting game come out, and then its sequel is announced. If VF6 was to come out a year after this final showdown's release, then hey, I personally wouldn't mind. But if they released Final Showdown, and announced Final Final Showdown ver. 'ferrealthistime', then I would be INCREDIBLY upset. I think that's also why VF5 R didn't come to consoles.

...

Version A came out earlier this year (I remember because there was a trailer for it). Is that what you mean?
