Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I do think I will start playing hulk though since most people don't know what to do against him!

I don't think that's the best course of action - you shouldn't ever rely on an opponent's ignorance for a win condition in anything. To put it the way a guy put it to me at my first Yu-Gi-Oh tournament when I was younger, 'You never want to have a base a strategy around what your opponent may or may not be running.' If it cripples some people, fine and all, but don't relying on gimmicks takes away from solid gameplay.

Marlinpie will be in top 8 for evo. I might go offline for this game. I wish he didn't drop his vanilla team. I think it's really good.
Viper/Magneto/Ammy was pretty much the cheap team that was anti-cheap stuff, primarily Phoenix. Marlin had a lot of failsafes built into that team, and it definitely showed.

Well first, good to hear you're getting out to WNF now. You'll definitely gain a lot of experience and knowledge.

As for the quoted sentence above, there's a very easy way to battle Hulk: just run away.

Still on the hunt for a new team. Been Trying Cap/arthur(daggers)/strider(vajra) now. Arthur appears to be the best projectile assist period for cap. fast start up, long hold, and slow projectile to follow him in. He's got 2 safe DHCs as well but can only link dhc in corner (which is very common). Strider works as a great anti air that cap can fully combo off ofwith OTG shield and arther can too with jumping bottle toss done preemptively.

My main concerns with this team is the competitive value of arthur and the meter management between him and strider. Generally I don't armor Arthur unless i need to and stick with strider assist spam and projectile walls.

Also Strider is hard to use, really fast and really difficult basic BnBs for very small reward. I personally would like to invest time in him and maybe drop arthur for another character...but arthur assist is toooo good for cap.

Honestly It's hard not to take advantage of peoples ignorance when it comes to Hulk I get so much damage because people think its ok to rush hulk down. I play Hulk really safe regardless of who I'm playing against its just something I've forced myself to do.

Main thing I learned is that I still get tournament nerves and it sucks, I got nervous as hell and I was playing like crap and it cost me the entire tournament. I'm guessing that the more I go to WNF the more I will learn to get over it, just a matter of time. Also the amount of Vergil matches I will be getting is going to be insane as I saw like everyone using him.

About the hulk thing, You are absolutely correct. Most people try to play against hulk like they would any other character and I just armor through them and get massive damage. Though for people who run away I usually just bring in Dormammu and have my hulk as a GTFO assist.

So i finally used Dark Wesker.

Honestly i couldn't play because i was laughing at how hilarious his speed was, it was like hacks speed or something, and i couldn't even tell how much damage i was doing because i wiped Dark Phoenix, Sent and Hulk in seconds.
