Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

If you think a team can work, then just go for it. Most people will try to sway you one way or another, most likely towards characters you won't enjoy playing. One of the best FG players I know was running Cap Am/Skrull/Doom in 3.0, and wrecking shop, despite that team not being very good at first or second glance. Unless your team has absolutely horrible synergy and just does not work, such as a team like Wright/Frank/Arthur, it all comes to down how well you know your team, and how good you are at the game.
I think that's why I'm liking the game more and I'm actually having fun for one. I already found nasty shit with all three of teams and solid DHCs.

I'd imagine so. The main problem with 3.0 is the lack of research that was done on many of the characters, and what was done was never really acknowledged. DHC glitch, though it did open up a new world of depth for combos and synergies, also alienated a bunch of possible teams. X-Factor was also a big problem, as was invincible assists and Dark Phoenix. The big stuff's been taken care of, so as a result, Ultimate is going to be a lot more enjoyable on the whole. Course, that will only be the case if it's given time.

O gawd, i haven't run into anyone like that yet, how was it?

When playing as this team, it is really easy to beat opponents who try to rush down. Though, this team runs into trouble against those who like to lame out all day.

Fighting against them, for me, is a cake-walk because I know each characters' strengths for the most part (and I play Sentinel/Nemesis seriously lol). I just bait out their armored normals and make them burn meter and possibly X-Factor and then I swoop in for the kill with Taskmaster/Nova/Captain/Sentinel/Other.

That is a good point. I felt lost in mvc3. In this one I can go to mission mode do some combos get into a character, and then take them to the REAL lab and explore them more. I been liking Frank and Fefe a lot. I might take them into the lab. But yeah the lack of knowledge on a lot of characters destroyed the game. People we're like," I could play Team Avengers; but I wanna win, so I'll pick Dante, Mr. Wisker(Wesker), and Phoenix." They called it a day after that. It's sad that most fighting game players have small brains(MY OPINION) when it comes to that.

Not so much knowledge, but research. It was more that people didn't want to take the time to learn other characters, when so much had already been done on some very strong characters, who surfaced pretty quickly. And despite what you may have heard, not many people played Dante, simply because he takes work. The only one who managed to win a major with him (if I recall correctly) was Floe, who has since dropped Dante. There were only a few other Dantes besides Floe that were notable, really. Yipes, Chrisis, PR Balrog, and KBeast.

Wolverine/Wesker/Akuma was easily the most easy mode and braindead effective team out there, but not one of the best. I would probably debate that Viper/Dante/Magneto was the best team in the game, it's just that no one realized it at the time, but that's kind of pointless now. Point is pretty much that Ultimate is a chance for the community to start over, and go in-depth with everyone.

And you're correct, many fighting game players (at least nowadays) aren't that smart.
