The OFFICIAL Back to school thread!! :D

I went to college for a year, but I'm taking a year off and studying part time at a different college. I'm only taking one class this semester due to how registration works for part time students. On the plus side, I will have plenty of time to do my homework since the class only meets once per week.

First day of class was monday. I'm a full time automotive student. Ahh, 6 weeks off from school was too much. I missed these lectures, I missed learning new shit everyday.

Starting this career path a year ago was by far the best decision I ever made in life. I'm sick and tired of BS jobs that pay ass!

Considering how much money a seasoned mechanic can make, a 2 year investment in school is not too shabby of a deal IMO.

Considering how much money a seasoned mechanic can make so long as they put in 20 years in a place that can stay open for longer than 2 years and can actually be a productive tech, and have good service writers that can actually sell quality work and not just half ass things to make their bonus. And so long as those writers give mee the good work and not the shitty brake jobs that take 3 hours but I only get paid for 1. a 2 year investment in school is pretty shabby of a deal IMO.
