The OFFICIAL Back to school thread!! :D

To start with, this year I'm at the 3rd and final level of High School.
Our schools start officially on 12th Sept (Normally on 11th but this year we get Sunday on that date)... Well, there's a slight chance that the teachers might go on strike, so they'll start later, but WHO CARES?

Most of the teachers at Greek public schools do literally nothing!
So I go, like all of the Greek students at my age or younger, to (after school) lessons in order to PAY to learn stuff we should be learning at school! Ahem, and I started those on 1st Aug (final year, final exams, full schedule, full fury)...

ANYWAY...
We have a system which orders that lessons will be seperated into 3 categories a.k.a directions. Theoritical, Technological and Positive Sciences. However, apart from those, we do have the general lessons that all children must be taught.

This year I've chosen the Technological direction and I'm very pleased for that decision.
And these are the 4 lessons from this category: Maths, Physics, IT and a lesson called Organising and Running Companies. Those are 4 of the 6 lessons that I'll be studying as I'll have to sit them (final Exams) at the end of the school year. The rest 2 are lessons from the general stuff. And these are Greek (noone escapes that) and Maths again (my choice).

Don't expect me to study sh!t like History or Politics, etc... this year.
I'll be a tourist, just like everyone. I'll be spending 6 hours of my life in that cold bitter building pretending a tourist.

Well, I think that is all...

You seem like just buckets of fun.

I have a flight tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM to go to Arizona, where I'll be attending classes at NAU as a freshman starting the 29th. I've got two courses oriented with the campus and college life itself, as well as Anthropology, American Politics, and English/Writing Skills. An easy load. My major is going to be oriented around Chemistry or music - potentially both if I can afford double majoring.

going in to yr 10 doing my gcse's in sociology bussiness and Media aswell as all the conpulasory stuff but don't worry i'll still be about
