The NBA (and everything Basketball) Thread

I don't even know what to say about that trade yet. It made absolutely no sense to me.
it made plenty of sense. james harden knows hes a max player, and he didnt want to take a pay cut to stay because he knows what he can make if he was a free agent. the thunder didnt want to pay, so sam presti traded him off before he became a distraction. signing him to a huge contract would have messed up the thunders salaries. but i hear they offered him 54 mil but im not sure on the years.

damn son, how do you guys think that james harden trade will affect the thunder, and more importantly the rockets?
I'm surprised that Oklahoma City just traded him away. I'm pretty sure Houston is going to take full advantage of using Harden's talents to good use. Oklahoma City will be criticized for trading Harden but more than likely, they will have good season, their only concern should be the playoffs, where depth always comes into play. Houston will surely improve at this point, probably have a winning record decent enough to be in the playoffs as the number 8 seed.

still not worried teams like this always get it together. dont play into that sportcenter hype, its 3 games in 79 to go. in other new James Harden is looking like a max contract guy right now, time to think up a nickname, besides "the beard", cuz i dont really like the beard.
