Ok i've read your post and also the text from David Benatar you linked in the OP.
And i'd agree that life is mostly bad from an objective standpoint.

But from a subjective standpoint my brain tells me that the glass is half full.
I have all the systems in my brain that help me deal with it, ignore/forget the bad and savor/remember the good.
So even if my life seems bad from the outside, from my view it's okay because of that.
And the varying degrees of bad you speak of turn into varying degrees of good.

That is relative anyway IMO.

I also agree with the people David Benatar mentioned, that negativity is needed to recognize positivity.
Otherwise we'd have a boring neutral. And i can't blame that on life too like he did.
As i think that is something that kinda transcends life.
