THE MAIN REASON WHY PEOPLE ARE STUPID

Read through your type, didn't look at most videos. The whole baby thing? Ya, fuck that. Visiting my niece and nephew is strong birth control, lol. I also don't really believe in God, though my Christian upbringing has anchored the thought of possibility quite firmly.

I say all this not because I completely agree with you, but so you won't try to dismiss me in an instant. You probably already have, if your shitty typeface is any indicator. Anyway, I'll continue to write this, because it makes me feel good. I daresay you wrote your prose in the prospect of some pleasure as well.

THERE IS NO COMPELLING REASON TO THINK SENTIENT LIFE HAS OCCURRED ON OTHER PLANETS.

There could be zero. There could be zounds. I think that's cool, but you seem to want to denigrate even that. Is it because you're lonely inside that smart head of yours?

Let me tell you a little story called "The Hermits" from the tales of a 1001 nights. I hope you find this as entertaining as I have found many of the other stories. It's abridged, but the full story is written just as awkwardly, so don't worry.

A certain hermit worshipped on a certain mountain. There lived a pair of pigeon also. The hermit made two parts of his daily food, eating one part himself and the other one gave to the pigeons. He also prayed for them that they could have children too. After a while the pigeons went away from there and the hermit died.

Now it is told that on a certain other mountain there lived a shepherd, a very holy man. He had a flocks of sheep and he made his living by their milk and wool. The mountain over which he lived had lots of trees and pastures including wild animals. Once he fell sick so he took himself to a cavern, and his flocks used to go out in the morning and come back to the cave in the night.

One day Allaah sent him His Angel in the form of a beautiful woman. When the shepherd saw a beautiful woman sitting in front of him, he asked her - "What made you come here? I don't need you." She said - "Don't you see my beauty and loveliness? Who is the man who does not need the woman, and who is the woman who does not need the man? I wish to live with you because you need the services of a woman. You will be all right and healthy."

Shepherd said - "Go out from here. I don't need you because you seduce the mankind." She again said - "Look at me, and take me in your service as other wise people have done before you." The shepherd said - "I know how much foulness you hide under your beauty." Then he threw his goat's hair cloak on his head so that he cannot see her face and started reciting name of Allaah. When the Angel saw his submission to Allaah, he went out of the cave and ascended to Heaven.

Now by the Hermit's hill there lived a pious man who had no other place to live, till one night he had a dream. A voice said to him - "In such and such a place near to you, lives a devotee. Go to him and obey him." So when he woke up in the morning, he went to look for him. It was very hot, so he sat down under a tree which was beside a running water stream. and he saw beasts and birds coming there to drink but as they saw the devotee sitting there, they got afraid of him and fled from there. So he said to himself, "I should not rest here, because in this way I will be hurting these beasts." So he blamed himself that I did not allow them to take water there. Thinking thus he wept.

Then he came to the place of the Shepherd and saluted him. The shepherd wept and embraced him saying - "How could you come here because nobody has ever come here?" The other devotee said - "I saw in sleep one man who described me your living place and asked me to come here to salute you." The Shepherd welcomed him rejoicing his company and both lived on that mountain worshipping Allaah.

My own opinion is that it doesn't really matter.
To me, what people label as alive and dead are just like different aggregate states of matter/energy or whatever.
I can't tell you what's better because i know only alive.
I think it's reasonable to conserve my live because i don't know if death will be better, and death is inevitable so i won't miss out on it anyway.

How we conserve our life is another question though, it's always at the expense of other life.
Although it's at the same time a mutual benefit(in nature), as one race, by eliminating the weak, helps the other race improve.
Even though it hurts.

If you want to stop doing that you could genetically modify your body with plant genes so you could live off of sunlight, minerals and water.

Our Society is a bit fucked though as death is demonized, something to hate, although it's an inevitable part of life. And we don't even know what it is like.
We are also spoiled.
When someone loses a child it's like "oh no the most horrible, unnatural thing that shouldn't happen!"
Although in nature (and in humanity's less luxurious past) it happens(ed) all the time, it's a part of life. That's how evolution works.

When i die i would probably be rather thankful for most of my experiences than angry about the bad experiences, or at the sickness that killed me.
And i'd be curious what death is like.

I think what you are propagating is like i imagine nirwana, the total end of existence, pain, joy and so on am i correct?
I think that won't happen as the matter of the universe constantly flows from one form to the other and back.
I also don't think that life is overly rare.
Some minerals like Bismuth could serve as template for molecule chains for example.
I don't think life is a huge anomaly that exists only on earth.

About propagation, like i said it doesn't matter as life will go on even without your offspring.
About the hypothetic children if life is so terrible for them they can end it, and it ends automatically after a century or so anyway.
If i had children i'd just tell them to enjoy the show and have fun while it lasts.
YOU HAVE SAID TOO MANY THINGS ALL AT ONCE THAT I DISAGREE WITH. THIS HAS MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DECIDE HOW I SHOULD RESPOND TO YOU. BUT I HAVE MADE MY DECISION:

IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL TO ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING WHICH I CONTEND TO BE A FACT. LIFE IS INHERENTLY NEGATIVE IN ITS FUNCTION. THIS IS PROVEN BY THE FACT THAT WE ARE CONSTANTLY IN STATES OF DEPRIVATION. WE ARE CONSTANTLY HUNGRY, CONSTANTLY IN DISCOMFORT, CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR WAYS TO RELIEVE DISCOMFORT. NEGATIVITY IS ALWAYS THE DEFAULT POSITION. POSITIVE STATES ARE NOT THE DEFAULT POSITION. IN FACT, POSITIVE STATES CAN’T EVEN EXIST WITHOUT NEGATIVE STATES BEING RELIEVED FIRST, WHICH SUGGESTS THAT THERE ARE NO POSITIVE STATES TO BEGIN WITH SINCE ALL FEELINGS ARE MERELY VARYING DEGREES OF DISCOMFORT. IN ANY CASE, WHAT MATTERS MOST IS THE CONTENTION THAT LIFE IS INHERENTLY NEGATIVE.

IF YOU SIMPLY CANNOT CONCEDE THIS TO BE A FACT OF REALITY, TELL ME NOW. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME TO ADDRESS YOUR OTHER POINTS IF YOU DON’T EVEN AGREE WITH THIS MUCH.

DO YOU EVEN HAVE A QUESTION?

LOOK, WHEN I CREATED THIS THREAD, I KNEW MOST PEOPLE WOULD BE INDIFFERENT ABOUT IT, BUT I MADE IT ANYWAY BECAUSE THIS TOPIC ONLY HAPPENS TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER AND NOBODY ELSE IS DISCUSSING IT SO I MIGHT AS WELL START. THAT BEING SAID, I'M OPEN TO HONEST FEEDBACK, BUT LEAVE OUT THE POINTLESS AMBIGUITIES AND DISTRACTIONS. JUST FUCKING TALK STRAIGHT AND MAKE YOUR POINTS.
