it looks to me like it's gonna be a combination of left 4 dead and dead island. but i hope it's different so it can stand out on it's own. those first person zombie games are getting old.

They been old. That doesn't stop them from making a killing. Hell though, first person shooters have been way saturated for years now.

All though the VGA's left me like "ummmm, wtf? Is that it?". This game looked promising.
Ive been dyeing for another "Left 4 Dead" type game, thats what I was hoping this will be like. But alas, dissapointed once again.
As a whole the game looks visual fuckin beautiful!! I think its something Ima at least "gamefly" and check out.

While playing a young teenage girl in a killer zombie game would be a rather... ballsy idea. It's highly unlikely that the typical twenty-something gamer would sit well with that idea and marketing would like push the game to playing Joel, the main male character in the video. I suspect there probably will be segments where players will play as Ellie, but I think the predominate character that players will play will be Joel.
Then again, they could easily surprise everyone. Maybe Joel will be some computer controlled AI partner whom you have use and command to kill off those zombie targets in some fashion. Highly unlikely, though.
