Just watched the movie today. Best trilogy ending ever.

Not as good as the second. Wasn't as fun as the Avengers. Didn't have as much heart as the new Spiderman. Waaaaaay too little Batman. Still a four and a half star movie. Great end to arguably the best trilogy of blockbuster movies ever.

Hmm, I found it to be just slightly behind the Dark Knight in terms of awesomeness but not by too much. It was a certain major snag maybe halfway into it and the ending. Those two bits kinda held it back. There's also one more major thing about the plot that sucks IMO...

After Bats had his back snapped like a twig by Bane and spent all the time in that prison...hole...place things kinda slowed to a crawl. It was all Bane and his kooky "i r teh leeg of shadows, i'ma make Gotham go kablooey" plot and its effects were just failtastic. Ditto for Talia al Ghul. Very dissatisfying plot twist.

Bats and Catwoman retiring together instead of Bats going kablooey was a failure as well, I thought. At least defeating Bane by blasting him in the chest with a cannon was appropriate. Probably one of the things that was done best: Bats genuinely being incapable of defeating Bane by his usual methods.

Still pretty damn good though!

Oh, and Hathaway? Meow! I never thought she was sexy before, but she worked out very very well as Catwoman. The actual catsuit was indeed not tight enough for something Catwoman would wear, but it still was pretty nice.

Not as good as TDK but definitively a great movie and possibly the best trilogy ever.
