I just got back myself from the last showing tonight at around 10PM. It was in the largest theater (grand) at this multiplex and there was only 1 other couple there besides myself and my wife which was great because we had it basically all to ourselves. Not sure if it was because it was late on a Sunday or if the recent events just spooked a lot of people.
Anyways, oh man.. what great a film. I was kinda afraid this would fall to the so called comic book trilogy curse where the third act usually sucked bringing the entire series/franchise down with it. But Dark Knight Rises was awesome. The story was well written, had a great pacing even for a nearly 3hour long film. And all of my initial doubts about Ann Hathaway as Catwoman... wow, smoking hot! and the way she "rides" that Batcycle.. lol. Oh and you'll see plenty of that
- you know I'm talking of course about the batcycle and stuff it can do, along with that new flying bat vehicle.
I wish I can just rant more about the film, but keep it spoiler free. Simply put if you like Batman and the comics, you'll love this film. Yes, it's still a Nolan realistic take on the series but the way the characters are woven into this tapestry brings these archetype characters we've all come to love to real life. Be ready for a surpise for how he does it this time around. That's all I'll say....

I liked it I wouldnt say it was the best one but i liked the conclusion. Personally I still think 2 is the best one but 3 was just as good. It was a little slow honestly but that plan... was epic despite how some of the people were thinking lol .

I liked it. Didn't think it was better than dark knight though. Although, if it weren't for the last 20 minutes or so I would've thought it was mediocre.
