When I say "modernity", I mean "evolution with respect", and religions sure lack respect... Religions are a plague to society, they kill liberty, and they don't get that if we are what we are, their "god" did it... Anyway, religions are just delusions, and a shelter for weak minded people (don't hate my for my opinion).
I could point out every flaw in the belief in a certain god, which I won't do here even if I'm already hating.

Assholes rule the world, and human race is the most abnormal: we are the only ones to have a god, and the only one to reject homosexuality. Coincidence? I think not.

I can understand your contempt for religion and the like, but I think it's a little too harsh to just point the finger at one institution for being a blight to general welfare. And as for old ideas of homosex=bad... i'm not so sure that that is the case. Prior to like the 19th Century, homosexually DIDN'T exist. And by that i mean that most cultures didn't view same-sex sex as anything but .. SEX. The notion that there are many types of sexualities other than just human sex is fairly new. And religious civilizations don't always ostracize same-sex sex. Lets take a look at the Greeks... A whole pantheon of gods, and same-sex sex is still okay. NOT only that, but there are a set of American Indian tribes that view homosexuals as a sort of powerful being; embodying both man and woman. And for one to call religions a delusion, well i think that is a tad ethnocentric. (fun fact.. Ethnocentrism is what is generally responsible for genocide and the destruction of distinct cultures) Sure religions can be superficially "bad", but their functionality is very important. Religion is a direct result of culture, and it is culture that separates Homo-Sapians from other bi-pedal apes.

(DISCLAIMER-- although it seems i'm trying to shove my opinion-dick down your throat, its not my intention.. i just want to share my thoughts, and i find it interesting to hear yours... even though this is a raunchy 8wr thread haha)

I agree with you :) And your opinion is way more humanist than mine, I admit I'm a bit bitter about other people's belief. It's just that I'm someone who relies only on logic and arguments (however, I don't say you're not logical or whatever), and therefore if someone can't prove something, or if they can't counter my arguments, I won't listen to them. I live in a plainly Catholic environment (my mum was a catechist), but there are so many flaws in this belief... It's just me, I can't accept something that's not plain logical and impossible to counter with some arguments!

However, time for the fun part: what's the most kinky place you've had sex in?
