Super new!

Well it turns out that I am an idiot who can't make up his mind.... Every time I "choose" a character to main I go and train with them for a bit and when I leave I second guess myself and convince myself that it's the wrong character. So, yeah... Not sure what to do. I probably just have to try all the characters and pick the one I like the most..... That might work....

Yep, yep, that's your best bet. If there's more than one, then that's fine too. Who ever said you could only play as one character?
 
Don't worry about it too much, just stick with the character that seems to work best for you. It wouldn't hurt to stick with simpler characters like Patroklos or Astaroth until you really feel you have a hang on the basics though. But until you're really nearing the cusp of really being a competitive player, you'll be fine playing just about anyone. You can do just fine in random online matches relying on basics and playing a mimic character.
