So far I'm leaning towards Raphael. As a raphael player do you have any tips suggestions, do you think he is a bad character to start with, pros or cons. And once again I really appreciate all the help you guys this is truly an awesome community.

No, I don't think he's a bad character to start with. For tips, I would suggest visiting the Soul Arena. There are a lot of really talented Raphael players (and no, I don't consider myself among them lol) that are always willing to help new players. Same goes for any other character.

Unfortunately, I'm on XBL as well. Good luck, though. And I do biasedly hope you stick with Raph. He needs more love, lol.

Welcome to the beast that is SC5. Have fun and learn as much as you can. Also as a general tip, give no one quarter in a match. Plan on beating everyone down and learn from every defeat and victory.
If you hear tier speak then let me help you early. There are tiers ranked D(low tier) to A(strong) and then S tier ( very strong)
On a interesting note Tira is A tier . She has weaknesses but all characters do. You chose a good one off of the bat. Learn as many characters as you can and be civil in online discussions.
