I don't see armor/guard breaking that much (as in the guard guage depleting). Either they are playing it safe and keeping the soul crushing damage to a minimum so they can test other items, or the character that have yet to be revealed (COME ON BANGOO!) are going to be the big guard breakers.

I saw the guard burst several times throughout the stream on Friday. I saw it the most in a match between Asta and Maxi though, I think there was one round where Maxi collapsed Asta's guard gauge two (possibly three) times. Or, my memory may be shoddy and it may have just been 3 times in the whole match.
