Hilde doesn't look like she's aged at all! (meaning less than 10 years of aging).
I don't see armor/guard breaking that much (as in the guard guage depleting). Either they are playing it safe and keeping the soul crushing damage to a minimum so they can test other items, or the character that have yet to be revealed (COME ON BANGOO!) are going to be the big guard breakers.
