I'm really looking forward to this development as it occurs. This could be the end of fanboys and the like... but more importantly, I'm eager to see what the two gaming giants have to come up with. Will the next console push the "3D" concept even further with games in development? Will Online services be free like PSN? Will they implement gimmicky controllers? (nintendo)

As much as I've been a Sony fanboy, a PlayBox2000 would be amazing.

I really hope they join forces. It could potentially cause the end of the world with the sheer awesome force of the face-melting required to plug the system into the outlet.

I think if Microsoft and Sony are gonna work togeher, It counts as Microsoft wins. Cuz there is nothing wrong with ps3. Although I have a xbox360, I wish I bought ps3. If they get unite, it'll be great but I smell dirty plans behind this.
