Solve the Mystery - Challenge 2

I find it hard to imagine if the stick was dropped it would kill someone by means of a fall while it being a signal for pre-dead guy whom can't see the stick holder, unless the pre-dead guy had to do something within the time of the stick falling but since it was an accident he was unprepared and therefore was too late to act or the stick was dropped and the pre-dead guy acted when it was too dangerous too hence the accident and the death.

Unless the stick holder's job was to kill the man but this is ruled out by it being an accident, and its highly unlikely that the story would have the man accidentally drop it when he was going to drop it anyway.

Does the man fall down from ground level? (A hole)
Does the man fall down from above ground level? (High up building/plane)
Does this have something to do with tight rope walking?
Are there more than two people that are involved in this scenario?
Is the stick an artificial limb?
Does the man with the stick have a duty to protect the pre-dead man?

Did the man know he was gunna die?
NO (I assume you mean at the time the stick fell)

When you hear the answer, it will make perfect sense.

You should make some questions out of that paragraph. It would maybe get you a little closer. ;)

I'll help you out, since everyone is having such a hard time. The stick being dropped did act as a signal, but it was dropped accidentally. Therefore, the signal was accidental. Another hint: One of the questions I just answered is close to revealing (a big part of) the truth (i.e. You were on the right track).

Did the man die from hitting the ground?
Did the man die from hanging?
Was the stick part of a hanging device?
Was it an exercise for an execution?
Was the dead man a prisoner?
Was he sentenced to death?
Was the other man a prison guard?
