What happened to cloud saving? That was the only thing I cared about. IMO the rest is junk. The PSX "classics" that Sony keeps spitting out are a freaking joke. Until Sony gives our PSN store the same treatment they give the Japanese store, I say fuck em.

based on the introductory products/deals offered. I think I'll pass. Namely cause there is a key difference here. I pay 50 a year already to MS for Xbox Live "privileges" (cause fuck up, and that shit can be taken away, no matter how much time, effort, or money you've put in to it.) and the only reason I do that, is because over there, its mandatory if you want the most out of your Xbox. I am glad Sony is making this optional to those who play their PS3s enough to warrant the extra expense.

Lol 50$ a year to rent some PSN games? They all disappear if your subscription runs out. So couldn't you just buys the ones you actually want for less and have them permanently?

I still have no idea what Playstation Plus fully entitles you to.

Does it make the overall online service more on the same league as LIVE and it's online functions (ie forming parties and party chat)?

I don't see much of a reason to get it ATM mainly because I barely ever buy anything from the PSN store.
