I'm not getting it since I don't really buy stuff on PSN... In fact, I haven't bought anything!! But I do intend to buy Final Fantasy IX since I never played it before. :P

Oh god the amount of Sony fanatics is out of hand. Even people who have both consoles it shows which one they play more. First off I'm a gamer I'm loyal to no console its all about games. I honestly use to be all about PSX and PS2 now I play 360 because in my opinion got better service and games. All PS+ is a sorry attempt to compete with XBL wait a minute that's a bit harsh I don't wanna upset everyone its a decent attempt. Lets see here what is everyone ranting and raving about PS+.
PS3: OH MY GOD!!! Early access to demos and beta trials OH MY GOOODNESS!!
360: XBL already does that Silver members don't have access to newly released demos they got to wait weeks to download it. By the way every single XBLA game has a trial with it unlike the PSN games.
PS3: Yeah well PS+ get discounts on games and other tings Mehhh!!
360: Hold on there 360 does that already too. It's called Deal of the Week (DOTW) usually things are discounted %30-%50 not to mention they have random deals like an Inventory blowout happened recently and have been doing summer deals and other various deals.
PS3: Well uhh uhh we have free games, avatars, and themes yeah TAKE THAT!
360: To be honest the quality and selection of free games for XBL is balls but they too offer free gamer pics, avatar parts, and themes the last free theme I actually cared about was Dante's Inferno.
So what exactly does PS+ offer that 360 does not already have? From what I can tell people who have PS+ pay for what 360 already does including "less". One thing I will admit in due time PSN has a chance to compete with XBL. The reason XBL is better than PSN is because when Xbox first came out that was their shtick. Microsoft kept on supporting and pushing online gaming at first and since they supported it sooner as it stands they were able to make it bigger and better. Pretty much PS+ is not all that great if I were to have money I would probably pay it for it though. Just to support Sony really and that's just how I am I like getting the most out of what I have.
