Its an amazingly good deal. If there are certain social enhancements this is gonna shit all over XBOX LIVE. As of now it's kind of it's own thing and as it is, it stands as a huge fan service and the $50 a year is cheap for everything you're getting. This is why I love Sony.

I already purchased a year (and 3 month) subscription. I personally think it has great potential. Can't wait to see the betas. :D

Hell, I'd rather sink cash into that than Home any day of the week. Seems like it'll be great for people who use the PSN store a lot. Wipeout HD is awesome too so that's a nice bonus if you haven't gotten it already.
