Official Soulcalibur V 1.02 Patch Notes!

Yeah...Tira is(WAS) SOOOO OP...she's been winning every single major for the past two months....oh wait...no...Been placing top 10 every major/tournament!....no....

I think Tira was one of those secretly really good characters. When I look at her right now, pre-patch, I see her gloomy stance as basically Nightmare with better mixups, better safety, and better tech crouch.
 
FC A+B with Natsu no longer stuns on ground.......wait whaaaaat? Why would the change that? what's the point in having that move then? it's done the same thing it does now forever. You might as well just completely remove it from the game.........and no voldo hitbox fixes sadly. T_T
 
You know, who needs buffs if all your enemies got nerfed? The end result is pretty much the same. Therefore, even if zwei only got lightly buffed, his power compared to others gained a lot.

Hence why i am saying chars with light nerfs (like nm, sieg, yoshi ect.) can be very happy. They remain almost unchangend while all their enemies lost a lot. That is an indirect buff.

I can see where you're coming from here, and it sounds like a good point. (I say this because at my skill level, I am not qualified to speak in absolutes) One can only imagine how terrible things would be if everyone was extremely powerful; short matches, and an all-around lackluster fighting system.

We're probably better off with nerfing characters versus buffing them; with this in mind, I still dont understand why they nerfed characters who weren't necessarily needing a nerf (Yoshi, Sieg, Maxi)
Then again, what do I know? lol
 
I donno, maxi had some really high damage output when I was fooling around with him... Maybe I just feel that way because I play raph....
