Personally I can't wait for Naruto and Bleach to end so other shows can be exposed.. wether or not they're good shows is up in the air. One piece is still strong but I never got into Toriko... Gintama is better, and IS shonen jump. (I think)

Hate to sound like a biased jerk, but not everyone is the same as you. While I do agree peeps that are into Shonen stuff like Bleach and all that, I really can't say that all is bad. Personally, I would like Bleach more if there wasn't so much filler arcs and more to the point. But the series was milked for more $$$ and I just became tired of arcs that catered to this same cycle:

Ichigo is introduced. Ichigo pwns. Ichigo and company meets an adversary that forces him to struggle. Ichigo and company find the solution and go beast mode to win. Repeat except with some other filler arc.

That aside, not many people such as I want to explore anime. So I just go on rumors, suggestions, or actually dig for anime to watch(if I'm not lazy).

My favorite genres tend to be the cliche CAR(Comedy Action Romance), but I'll watch anything if it manages to impress me enough. Basically, I will try some stuff out to see if I like it despite popularity.

Or you can be the other side of the spectrum like me and watch LITERALLY everything start to finish no matter how good or bad it is.

I mean Bleach anime is ending and gets a HOLLYWOOD live action movie for it, gonna be awesome?
Naruto has been ass since ShiTPOOden began, again i only talk anime not manga.
One Piece is still arguably the best anime still airing for going on as long as it has and literally only getting better as we go, that's hard to do man. This is filler and everything.

But who cares about those action shows? I tell you who did. Satoshi Kon. Satoshi (creator/director of anime like Paprika, Paranoia Agent and Perfect Blue) said, before he died, that if the Big Three, aka Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, ended than the anime and more so the manga industry would be dead in 10-20 years.
He later went on to say by big three he meant One Piece and the two stragglers, which i laughed at.

So these shows are important to exist, sort of like how SF4 is important in reviving the fighting game genre, and it's only better if the show is good like ONE PIECE

But hey i like any kind of show man, but it still has to be good. And at least 2 of those shows listed by Acefrost had some things that can easily be negative about them.

Also did i mention

On another note i just marathoned a good chunk of Amagami SS, and that shit is good. More shows should go the omnibus route, even more so if they can do it half as well as Amagami does it.

What was that? Watch the original 90 HxH too? I agree.

I like Amagami. This anime actually kept me satisfied imho. The only nitpick I will pout about, is that one of my favorite heroines Kaoru, has a rather meh arc. That aside, the male lead is actually fun.

YES!!! AMAGAMI SS FOREVER!! This is one of the few animes I will forever appreciate, I had to buy the whole album, every single OP, ED, drama vocals...EVERYTHING!!

Other than that my regulars are Fairytail, Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream (HOORAY FOR A SEASON 2!!).

Also can't wait for Medaka Box to start airing in april.
