Let's be honest. Supernatural fighting time is about as over done as mecca in anime. You're just so negative because you perceived it as stealing deserved popularity from something you liked. By the time bleach came along though Yu Yu Hakusho was all wrapped up, people had moved on and Yu Yu wasn't going to maintain popularity for 20 years like a DBZ, it would have been unrealistic to expect that. I'm not going to get upset because the kids aren't nuts about Outlaw Star or Iria anymore.
I've heard that Bleach recently "copied" an Arc from Yu yu Hakusho.

Recently watched a bunch of anime, all of them I enjoyed a lot.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
Sora no Otoshimono
Kore wa Zombie desuka?
ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai
Baka to test

All of these were awesome and I have no complaints about any of them. ( nor do I care about anyone else's complaints about them )

I think its sad that some people actually think that Naruto/DBZ is the end-all- be all show for them. When they die, they leave the anime community.. Not enough people (especially shounen jump fanboys) don't like to explore the entire medium. There are many shows people can watch that are a differnt form of storytelling all on its own, perhaps there are shows you may like MORE then Naruto or DBZ. I've found mine, Deadman Wonderland is still my favourite series right now, but the anime is too short.

I've recently "finished" Oreimo and actually think the story is pretty deep, and commend it for exploring a realistic issue thats not based on overpowered kids with magical powers they cant control. It deals with The prejudice of people towards otaku as it is in japan. Parents not liking a hobby they can't understand and friends who just can't accept that it's your thing. Its interesting because it can happen to anyone, but the impact these choices have on how the characters deal with them is what made it interesting to watch.

Personally I can't wait for Naruto and Bleach to end so other shows can be exposed.. wether or not they're good shows is up in the air. One piece is still strong but I never got into Toriko... Gintama is better, and IS shonen jump. (I think)
