I guess I missed the part where Death Note had any sort of meaningful philosophy or darkness. Seemed like a very adolescent powertrip wankfest that was only interesting for the constant cliffhanger oneupmanship. After L was done the show should have ended, it would have been much better for it. The show jumped the shark and everything post-L was retarded.

But I hate everything.

The only depth Death Note had was in the cross of what was right and wrong, and it didn't do well at that. I will admit it was entertaining at first, cool little thought, and some thought was put into TRYING to make it seem like it wasn't straight shounen, but it was. replace DBZ power ups with wooooorrrrrrrrrrrds and there you go.

Otoshimono ep 1 was sort of funny, so far (as in ep 1) not a terrible start for an ecchi series.

Sasameki Koto though, i mean for real, i can't stop watching. The amount of lesbianism in this show is far too great to turn my eyes from.

Figures.

I've found the current yuri infested anime crop to be kind of disheartening. I hope it's just a fad. Just a shame that the moment I'm actually interested in anime there's nothing at all worth watching (except for Cross Game).
