Less and Less Time for Video Games...

When I was 22, I felt the same way you did. I only enjoy playing 1 or 2 games at a time, and I prefer to focus on other things in my life. I can't shake the feeling that playing a game is a waste of time, unless there is some greater benefit- i.e. community;good times, ect.

RPG's are the worst, I can't stand playing the at all. Anything with grinding, just... no.

It's normal, in other words.

That's exactly what I'm saying right now. Love trying to bring players together when I'm back home, but, every since I've gotten back up here, I've been...I dunno.

Guess, maybe, I'm trying to force myself to enjoy games when there's just a bunch that I don't anymore. It's time where I'll turn a game on and just leave it on for hours and then just play for around thirty minutes or turn it off all together after doing something else.

Glad to see I'm not going through some type of 'crisis'.

do you work? i could understand comming home all tired and playing for a few mins then getting bored cuz ur tired...

-_- happens to me all da tyme.

but certain games are horrid. but the hype causes them to be played

Well, I'm can't even work myself up to play when I don't have work, but, yeah, I'm active duty Army. Have to 'get up' in 3 hours but I have insomnia. x_x

That hit me a while back where I felt like "games aren't fun". I stopped being so analytical and abstract and forced myself to turn my brain off, and whatdayaknow, I started having a blast.

Try a game you haven't played before.

I was actually just thinking the same thing! And I know what you mean about turning my brain off...think that's part of the problem (thinking too much half of the time...which is also been linked to my insomnia).

Was just thinking about playing Fatal Frame 1 since I love the series and haven't even played that one yet.
