Joseph says something along the lines of: "What are you doing this to me? You're tearing me APART Lisa Lisa!" As a victory quote. There's an image of it floating around.

For Ermes, they could have tried something like: "Just freakin' try it!" or "I'm the one you want, right!?" or SOMETHING.

Untranslatable puns are understandable, though. How they interpreted Boah shouting his name as "Bal Bal Bal Bal Bal Bal" is kind of silly.

As for the chart, the CFW's problem is either it's questionable placement of characters (most seem really weirdly placed), or the chart can be definitely be seen as insensitive, gender policing, or homophobic (even if it wasn't intended).

I interpreted it as a parody making fun of people who were streaming the game when it first came out. Jabbing them about their ignorance. What did it for me was Jolyne/Ermes being in the top right. Like, there were some people who for the life of them couldn't tell that Jolyne was obviously a girl. Many were saying "This game is WEIRD" in the same tone as "This game is SLOW".

Otherwise, yeah that chart can definitely rub people the wrong way. You might might want to be more careful when posting it.
 
Funnily enough, it looks like the "come at me bro" was an afterthought. They originally had it translated as "Your foe is right here!", as evidenced by Joseph's "Next you're gonna say" taunt against her. They forgot to change his subtitle.

Baoh's vocalisations getting translated as "BALBALBAL" is just strange, seeing as they already had an official translation. The Viz Media release translated it as "barooo", so I have no idea why they changed that.

As for the chart, it's a joke, plain and simple. The only person who would see it as homophobic is someone that would connotate homosexual with "bad".
 
Well, I know you didn't mean anything bad by it, don't worry.

I watched the Boah OVA recently, which made me buy him in ASB. He seems really cool, low damage but he's super fast and can punish a lot of stuff easy.

One thing I should mention is that if campaign is getting tedious, turn off menu "helpers" in the options. Man, that makes the whole game move twice as fast... No more waiting for Steven Steel to stop screaming after every little thing.

Low-damage punishers are my game, I've got to pick him up now. I can only hope that the announcer he get for his moves doesn't get too grating. Turning off Helpers doesn't disable the characters that come up between rounds and give you various assists, does it? That shit has a chance of fully recharging your campaign battery if you're lucky.

Honestly the character I would have liked to see in-game that didn't make it was Leone, I was somewhat disappointed to see him delegated to Sound Test, even if it does make the most sense. It just rather disappoints me to see a member of Passione get left out.
 
No, the bonus chance guys are still there, and still have their voices. It only gets rid of Steven Screaming Steel. It makes all the menus move much faster, actually. The only helper I liked was Ghiacchio (sp?) because he was so out of the way, and I enjoy his surly-ness.
