10% of your income? Shit, I only was asked to put a dollar in the donation basket each Sunday as a kid, and that was optional! I can't speak for all Mormon churches, but that seems to me like cult activity there.

If I had $1 for every time God bailed me out..
Yeah 10%. So for the math retards.....If you brought home a $1000 check, you would owe the LDS church $100. doesnt sound like a whole lot. But multiply that by 2 per month, then mulitply that by 12 for the year. and thats a lot of fuckin money to buy that solid gold statue that sits on top of ALL the temples there are. Seems fishy to me, but what do I know
The word "cult" is exactly what it felt like, and still seems like.
Perceptions from individual to individual can be completly differnt. Im not coming out saying..."the mormons are a cult" or "there is no god all religions are bullshit". Im just not a religious person. If someone has very compelling evidence that would make me think other wise...then I might be willing to listen. But as of right now. No Thanx!!!
