Im reluctant to say that I was baptised a mormon when I was 8 years old. Only to find out the weird truth later on. My parents forced me to go to church every stinkin sunday till I was like 12. My family was the poor family in the church. And what the mormons do to those POINTED AT "less fortunate" is that they actually will help out with your monthly bills, Food and other things. My parents mostly lived off that sort of thing. So in turn you are required not only to attend church and pay your tithing (which is 10% of your income...think about that for a second) you have to work long ass hours in canneries and other mormon money making schemes.
after years of finger pointing, ridicule and other humiliating events, I decided to not got to church anymore. Taking a big step back to look at the big picture, The mormons are one of the richest religons in the world. Religon in itself is all about money, always has been! always will be. With money comes power. If you are a pesent in the kingdom and Im the king and I tell you that you will go to this wonderful place when you die IF YOU GIVE ME MONEY, wouldnt you start emptying your pockets?
religon is a money making scheme to me. Im not trying to knock those that have faith in thier religion. More power to you. But in my experiences with church and the people that run it, its main purposes are hidden from the normal church goers, so that the real purposes of money and power do not come out, those are supposed to be the work of the devil right?
