Humans are fucked.

I don't lobo. But I did see the address of the President of PETA one year, the general speech or whatever it was. It was whacky as fuck. I don't know if everybody in PETA agrees with it, but when you are a voluntarily member of an organization I would assume that if the president's address pisses you off too much you would quit.

I don't have much experience in this, but friends that I have who have more reasonable pro animal rights stances actually hate PETA because they are such a terrible organization that draws crazy responses and makes it harder for more moderate organizations to get anything done.

But lobo, I thought gays like being eaten?

So...feel like making a legit post. I'm a vegitarian, have been for 3 maybe 3 and a half years. Haven't had meat at all. My girlfriend is also a vegitarian, her because she saw a video like this. I personally didn't feel right about it after knowing what had happened. Not because we're killing animals, a little because we're killing them in an infantile state(but then again predators do it all the time, fuck survivorman killed a young coastal bird on a pacific island), but mostly because the fact that this is such a massive industry. Seems silly to me. I mean think of all the money that pours in for these people to harshly kill another animal without much care, dip it in greese and oil, cover it in cheese, smoosh it between two buns, then chuck it through your car window in a paper bag? Silly.
I've helped friends ready up gear for hunting trips, shop for equipment, and I've gone on trips where they went hunting. I didn't go off with the group myself because I wouldn't actually eat what I killed meaning it would basically be a total waste of a life, and two because I couldn't actually bring myself to kill an animal unless circumstances were dire. Didn't stop me from preparing the food with them either. They killed an animal in a way my own bias moral compass deemed correct, and I support it. Especially since one of my friend's dad tries to only go shopping for meat once a month; the rest is food he hunts. Good man.

Fuck dolphins. It is the gays that we have to protect!
No love for gay dolphins Lobo or is that a gray area? Seriously though, we can't do both? Is it ever going to come down to a scenario where we're choosing between one or the other, I mean think about it. Let's say a boat is sinking. Dolphin doesn't give a shit. He'll swim underwater and be like "Look at me, I'm a dolphin, I don't give a shit.". So we save the gay guy. Next scenario, house fire: What the fuck is a dolphin doing in a house? A house that's not underwater? Those guys always hang out underwater and you know that. There is only one possible scenario I can think of where we might have to choose between one or the other and that's a scenario where by means of a clever disguise a dolphin and a gay guy look exactly alike, only one of them is in actuality a killer! "Choose me, I'm the real one!" "Ehehehehskreeeeee!" And you, with a loaded revolver must take your shot. But the clear choice in that instance is to shoot first then check them both for a blowhole. If they both seem to have a blowhole, that is an exit wound. In short, we shouldn't eat either one. I rest my case. Where was I?

Your the definition of a Speciest
Possibly the stupidest phrase I have ever had the displeasure of frequently encountering on the internet. That there are people who wield it with any sense of legitimacy at all speaks volumes towards how disconnected people are becoming from reality. Care about animals, fine, but don't allege that we are the same. You do no favors to the animals you seek to defend by anthropomorphizing them. If anything you only show a lack of appreciation for them with phrases like "If they could talk." Well they can't. So you'd better find a way to defend them based on what they are as opposed to what you imagine them to be.

This is the perfect example of a stupid term. The other terms, racist, sexist, etc are designed to call attention to people making unnecessary distinctions. That is, people have different skin colours, but they are the same where it counts. People do or don't have dicks, but they are the same where it counts. "Where it counts" is thinking, feeling, having hopes and dreams, etc. Look up some inspirational speeches by MLK or something I'm sure he has something there about how we are all alike. Animals and us are pretty fundamentally different. So yeah, I am a speciest, I make a distinction between two things that are completely different. Call me a squarist too; I distinguish squares and quadrilaterals, I think certain mathematical theorems apply to one and not the other.
Game set and match, bravo sir.
