Help me!!!!!! which car should I buy (IRL)?

The whole point of a good car is to enjoy your journey from point A to point B. I recently picked up a Suzuki Swift Sport (sadly you cant get these in the US yet) and I tell you, I have stopped playing Soul Calibur because of how much fun driving is. Sweet revvy and perky engine mated to a solid chassis with a smooth 6 speed manual box; all these equal FUN. I can't drive an Auto anymore, my left leg demands it! You can hold your lower gears for longer while accelerating; so much fun.
It costs a bomb in my country due to road taxes, in fact it costs Ferrari money so you should feel lucky that you have so many items on your menu. So get to choosing the right one!!!!
Here are some examples of better cars for not much more money than 20k (This list is in progress):
25k dollars for a top of the line Ford Focus ST in the US. Its criminal not to pick one of these up. CRIMINAL!
24k for a VW Golf GTI!
V6 Mustang for 24k!
Honda CR-Z for 25k! Its a hybrid which is fun!!!!!
16.7k for a Suzuki SX4 Sportback (i guess more or less the suzuki swift sport with more power)! That's way within your price range and way more fun.
I hate my country: 23k for a new Mazda MX5.....
25k for a Subaru BRZ.... 24k for a Scion FR-S (same car basically but wow).
Let's look for used under 20k (Buyer beware of course but if you are careful you should be able to get a good one at this price, looking for a great used car is also a lot of fun), based on LA prices from Autotrader.com:
45k miles 2006 S2000 for 16k.
45k miles 2006 BMW 325 for 20k.
12k miles 2012 Fiat 500 Sport (Wow its so cheap in the US, im jealous).
You can get a porsche 944 for 9k. Im so jealous...
Early 2000 Boxster for less than 20k.
