Ok forget L.A. :) Whats in San Diego?

Well, there's more to LA than Hollywood, fortunately. Most people really like Venice Beach, that's definitely worth a trip, and Santa Monica, one of the fancier parts of LA, is not far from there. My sister in law works at a mall in Santa Monica and she says they get customers from Europe all the time. San Diego has a really nice downtown area and some of the best beaches in California. Coronado Island and La Jolla are really close to San Diego and are great places to visit as well (I'd just never want to live either of those places - everything's so expensive!)

No need to worry, you won't be graded on your English here. Just be careful about using the words "corn" and "hole" in the same sentence. :p Englisch kannst du zumindest so gut wie ich Deustch kann.

Umm... why do I like Austria better, do you mean? Well, I like Germany a lot too. But I think Austria is more different from the USA than Germany is. So, it was a more interesting experience to be there. And, this isn't actually as bad as I make it sound, but I kind of remember Germany as a cold, dark place... Also, I met some great people in Germany too, but in Austria everyone was really nice to me. People in Germany, generally speaking, were very polite, but not necessarily friendly. :p

I was studying in Göttingen, so I spent most of my time there. I've also been to Hamburg, Bremen, Kassel, Aachen and Köln. Oh, and Frankfurt of course, but only long enough to change planes or get on a train going somewhere else. I've never been to Berlin!
