Good/Bad Game Companies

INFINITY WARD: A-
I like Infinity Ward, I do not like Activision. But Infinity Ward is the developer, while Activision is the publisher. Activision smartly has given IW free reign when it comes to Modern Warfare, and for that, they score a little higher in my book. But IW knocked it out of the park with MW2. Yes, the single player story was convoluted, but it was fun. Not to mention they give online FPS that MMO feeling of constant achievement. I don't care about Dedicated Serves, as I wouldn't play on people's custom hack ridden servers anyways.
mw2 is hack ridden servers lol. IWnet is TERRIBLE. Games possibly the most hacked game there is. Every 5 minutes an aimbotter gets its wings...and by wings I mean an AC130 that spirals into their nuke. As well I can't stress how absurdly unbalanced it is. knife, n00b tube, pill, and carepackages are just insanely OP. Game is probably more n00b friendly than halo.

I just have huge resentment to companies that ignore their audience. Funcom and MW2 are just two examples of a ROYALLY pissed off community being ignored. Both games could of been great (MW2 is fun when there's no hackers, lag, and people aren't abusing knife/tubes), but the mistakes they hold are absolutely unforgivable.

To be fair, the MW2 community asked for alot of what was put in the game, but now thats its all there and not working for everyone they complain. I can only imagine how bad it must be on PC with hacks AND the already broken game mechanics.

At its core the game is good, but when you throw lag and bad hit detection into the mix it gets ugly.

Oh and CoD became noob friendly after CoD 2 or 3. Haven't played 2 but I know it was played on a competitive level for years.
