Game -> movie adaptations

eh mk2 sucked so bad it made the 1st movie look like a...movie
although i will say i actually liked the 1st resident evil movie but it all went down quicker than paris hilton
about advent children i thought it was decent but not good
is it true that they are working on a live action evangelion?

Over all,I think all movies based on video games should be made in CG.
If they want to make them "live action",then I say get the casting crew from japan and the original story from the creators themselves...cause Hollywood can't follow simple story lines for shit!

I think the people at Hollywood don't want a Movie to be 100% like the game...

My brother want to see the new Punisher..he was Punisher for Halloween, the movie sucks

Oh I know that Hollywood doesn't want to follow the story line 100%.
The Dragonball movie is a perfect example...I'm not even going to touch that subject,it just pisses me off. >_<

this just goes with my philosephy that games based on movies generally suck. not much depth, glitchy graphics, and boring over all. the spiderman games were the only decent ones i thought. The only great game the was first based on a movie was the matrix: path of neo. i still play that every once in awhile.

and it works vice versa. movies based on games do not have the reputation of being anything spectacular. the new street fighter movie for example looks horrible. Mortal Kombat movies were cheesy and low budget.

I just dont think games and movies should mix unless all the time and effort in making the movie, goes into making the game. and vice versa.
