Final Fantasy: Dissidia

I'm glad that I wasn't the only person that thought of Virtual On when I saw this.

I like the look of it, but I really cannot critique its gameplay much based on those videos. I would agree that there seems to be validity in The_Landslide's critique of the game, but I cannot get much of a grasp of its mechanics from that.

I do agree that the split screen and auto aiming and zooming features really remind me of the DBZ Tenkaichi games.

I honestly had someone tell me what all of the numbers on the screen meant when I first watched it. I saw some kind of "X" for dodging, but I am not entirely sure how that works.

I definetely think it's worth a shot, but I highly doubt that this will be ground breaking.

Who else thought that Kefka's design was altered slightly after the Dark Knight? I know that is kind of how he was meant to be, but I think they changed it a little bit after watching some Heath Ledger as the Joker.

the thing with the X button was probably one of those special attack sequences all chars get when the brave gauge is empty & you do a critical attack thingy......

I'm confused, that makes it sound like an attack.
"X" probably can do that also, but I don't think that it what I saw. It definetely looked like an evasive move, but I don't know what triggered it exactly.

Maybe it is the critical attack as a counter. I don't think it is too complicated; I just need to play once before it becomes clear.
