If I didn't like playing Lightning and Tifa so much, I'd main Kain. The main issue is that he's too reliant on his assists to really beat down his enemies, and even then it has to be one of the God-Assists (Kuja, Jecht, Seph, Aerith) to maximize damage. OTOH, his assist building is stupidly good. Between Cyclone and his dash follow-ups, Kain has no issue building meter, and Jump is just godly, especially during those rare moments where you land it on reaction.

Mmm, I dunno. Kain's only really problem is combos which is where the assists come in. He can get guaranteed HP damage off any of his wall rushes. Its just landing his more powerful HP moves (Gungnir, Rising Drive, etc) require an assist.

Tifa feels like she has bigger problems to me. Too much of her stuff ends up in Chase and that's always a 50/50 on whether you're going to land a follow up or not. Her feints aren't that great, either. Still I do enjoy playing her.

By the way... Gilgamesh and Paladin Cecil are also pretty good assists.

The feints are all right, but they can't be spammed. I know that you can use them to dodge-punish and assist-punish, as well as their intended counterattack usage, but it's easy to bait out the feint. That said, she's fast, her EX building is extremely good, and she has both a BRV>HP (Water Kick>Somersault) and a solid pseudo-BRV>HP (Blizzaga>charged Meteor Strike). Essentially, she seems to be a mind-games-focused brawler.

Gilgamesh is alright, but his damage his unreliable. Cecil's good, though. I use him with Lightning to set up Flourish Of Steel or get BRV back quick after Thunderfall.

Smash Bros (If you consider it a fighting game)
Street Fighter
Um... I used to play Killer Instinct at this little club thing I went to. It was enjoyable, but definitely resulted in a few sleepless nights. xD I was young.. and.. well.. it was damn scary from what I can remember. lol
Edit: How could I forget Virtua Fighter?? Is it just me that finds that game hilarious? xD

Dissidia the original cuz never played the 012 circle.
The game is fun, and each character when playing in equal terms have equal chances of win and lose in general.
Tekken, I was more into in the past now days not so much, but still I find fun sometimes.
