E3 2011 Discussion

Anyone who doesn't think Sony had the best conference is drinking the kool-aid.
I'm not interested in a Playstation brand 3d television, thanks. If that interests you, somebody call the kool-aid man, cause you look pretty thirsty to me. OH YEAHHH!

But it's not like I can't acknowledge it really boils down to how much of a shit you give about things like the PSVita. That's why I use handy little relative phrases like "to me", "for me" and "in my opinion". If you're somehow angered by people having different opinions than your own ('I saw the trending tweets and people were like "omg! Nintendo won this, blown away!". With what? They showed nothing!') you should probably take five and simmer down, amigo. This stuff isn't that important.

Myself, I was relatively impressed by Nintendo's conference. There is of course the caveat that if you own a 360 or a PS3 there's essentially no appeal here, you'll have the same games and you've had similar games for a while. That said, it's nice to see Nintendo finally launched themselves a real console, even if it's a little late in the game. The controller itself, while cumbersome looking, seems like it could make an amusing toy (if it really can do art like that I'd probably draw on the thing incessantly), but God help you if you're one of those types who loses their temper and hurls their controller into the floor. Ninja Gaiden 3 is looking fantastic though. Gives me some real hope for DOA without Itagaki. Tecmo had me a little worried after the whole six-axis boob control thing and Other M's mixed reviews.

Microsoft: TAKE 3 DIMENSIONAL PICTURES OF YOUR JUNK
Fixed.

Ya know, it's amazing how much augmented reality stuff we're seeing though. Seems to have caught the eye of the industry as a whole.

The only way you can be impressed by Nintendo's conference is if you're impressed by empty promises.

Empty promises is primarily the reason I hate the company. They aren't any better than Microsoft or Sony. They lie to sell their shit just like Sony and Microsoft do. Only difference is Nintendo is the veteran so people are more prone to make excuses for them.

The Wii had potential but look what happened? Shit 3rd party support...AGAIN. Despite them promising GOOD 3rd party support, it never happened. Microsoft and Sony still had the good 3rd party support.

...for as much as I love Tekken, I'm not liking that 5040549854 games are being released.

TTTHD, TTT2, Tekken WiiU, SF x T, T x SF.... this isn't going to work.

Otherwise, the new Tomb Raider looks good, hope it's better than the most recent which was shit.

I like Nintendo's new controller's idea. It can let you do like a head tracking vison which you can tunes the angle manually by hands in a 3D world and the controller's screen can show its private data to the player. And it brings up a different multi-screen gaming style from DS to console. Multi-screen gaming is the future? I don't know. Let's see how good it is next year.
