oh i see it now. I love how it looks but i agree with Hitomi's forehead being kinda big in the poster. maybe they'll change it in game. like how Ayane looks older, not that i minded her late teens/early twenties. hopefully in tag she can actually switch out without me fearing her taunting.

The cliff feature has a QTE event that the one falling off can use to catch on and get back up.

After catching the ledge, the attacking player has the option to either do an attack or a throw while the falling player gets back up. The attacker can decide either, but the falling player only has the options to either block the attack or dodge the throw.

The holds are a 3 point hold system for weaker holds, and a 4 point "advanced hold" called "expert holds".

There will be a tag mode.

The QTE stuff doesn't sound all that bad then. However, not a fan of random shit falling from the sky that I cannot see that can deal damage and stun me.

Excited to see the 3 hold system come back, granted. if Expert Holds are stronger, they'll be mastered.

DOA's Tag mode is so much goddamn fun. Big elaborate combos to walls and up/down slopes. Good times, can't wait to play this one.

Tecmo Koei Aiming For A Worldwide Simultaneous Dead Or Alive 5 Release

This week has been filled with news regarding Tecmo’s new installment to the Dead or Alive series.
With new images of redesigned Hitomi and Ayana plus information that the fighter is 15% complete, today we learned that the ninjas at Tecmo Koei are working hard to ensure that Dead or Alive 5 makes a simultaneous worldwide release on the PS3 and 360.
Dead or Alive 5 marks the return of the series to Sony’s home console in over a decade. Hopefully PS3 fans will greet it with a warm welcome when it arrive
