Something strange is goin on, ive pre-ordered dao5u from amazon and still no dlc code...and i hit them up..and still no response...dammit!
Anyone know if this is normal?

I wonder if arcade players made fun of console players back then.. xD Thank god for consoles now! Save my quarters!

And good advice, I only got good at fighting games after I got beat a lot then eventually learned match-up strength, basically how to defend and punish things. I think a good defense is more important than a good offense in games like DOA.

Typical of preorder bonuses... Try to get a chat rep for Amazon and see if they can't give you the stuff, normally they'll give you this sort of thing right away.

I agree with this, GameStop fucked up my DoA5U preorder last week and I bitched and moaned to them about it until I got them to call Head Office and give me a DLC code. Naturally I got what I wanted. I need mah Pop Idol Ayane outfit! I suggest you do the same thing Amanda. The more pissed off you sound, the better! (I.e. Dealing with Sales People 101)

On a different note DoA doesn't feel like it has that many gimmicks until you fight a Brad, Hayate or Hayabusa. These dudes thrive on bullshitting you.

Saving money was the biggest motivation to get better in the arcades for any game. This is why 1cc plays are standard in Japan even for casual players and credit feeding is looked down upon.
